Fake Shark Real Zombie recently premiered their strangest single yet, "Get Weird," but the genre-jumping unit's video for the song is a relatively straightforward affair.
Bleach-blonde vocalist Kevvy Mental is the only member of the outfit to appear in the video, which was filmed in L.A. last November. He is, however, surrounded by a dancing crew of doppelgangers in matching tie-dye prints. There are a couple of tensor-bandage-adorned deadites hanging around for good measure, but basically it's just Kevvy and crew walking along a beach scene. Maybe that's the weird thing, that it's so banal compared to the scat-sporting, choppy rap-pop backdrop?
As previously reported, "Get Weird" arrives on the band's Liar, which Light Organ Records delivers February 19.
