It's been almost 40 years since Elvis Costello made his breakthrough, and now the veteran songwriter is preparing to chronicle his journey with a memoir. The book is called Unfaithful Music & Disappearing Ink, and it will be out on October 13 through Penguin.
The 352-page tome will be released on hardback, ebook and audiobook. It was authored by Costello himself, and an announcement from Penguin describes it as "unconventional but indelible."
It's currently not clear if it will focus on a specific period of the 60-year-old's life, or if it will cover the entire thing, but it's said to be "rich with anecdotes about family and fellow musicians, introspective about the creation of his famous songs."
