Dust Moth

"Casual Friends"

Seattle's Dust Moth made their recorded debut last fall via a split with Aeges, but the group are now previewing their first full-fledged debut, Dragon Mouth, with an atmospheric post-rock anthem called "Casual Friends."

Though made up of former members of Pacific North West icons Undertow and indie pop act Minus the Bear, Dust Mouth play closer to guitarist Ryan Frederiksen's old Arms are Snakes project, letting his effects-soaked six-strings and a hypnotizing snare ripple steer the song as vocalist Irene Barber belts out lines about a seemingly compromised, complex relationship.
