Drake Taps Rick Ross, the Weeknd and "Surprise Special Guests" for Second OVO Festival

Last year, Toronto-based rapper Drake rode on the coattails of his Thank Me Later album with the launch of his very own festival. Called the OVO Festival, the fest used his October's Very Own production company to bring performances from Francis & the Lights, Young Jeezy and Bun B alongside Drake himself. Now, the artist has dropped details for the concert's second edition.

The OVO Festival will once again take place at Toronto's Molson Canadian Amphitheatre and will take place on July 31. Along with Drake, the confirmed headliners for the festival are Rick Ross and R&B-singing blog favourite the Weeknd, along with "surprise secret guests."

As AUX points out, the special guests who appeared at last year's OVO included Rick Ross, Kardinal Offishall, Fabolous, Eminem and Jay-Z. That means fans can expect huge things, especially considering the fact that Lil Wayne is no longer in jail and currently on tour with Rick Ross.

Tickets for the 2011 edition of OVO Festival will be available on June 3 at 11 a.m. local time.
