Dillinger Escape Plan's Greg Puciato Launches the Black Queen Project

Dillinger Escape Plan vocalist Greg Puciato is putting his focus elsewhere with yet another offshoot, this time teaming up with members of Telefon Tel Aviv for a new project called the Black Queen.

Though details haven't exactly been plentiful, the outfit have slowly been rolling out info over various forms of social media since the middle of February. The lineup comprises Puciato, Telefon Tel Aviv's Joshua Eustis and Steven Alexander. Puciato had alluded to the project in 2013, though he didn't give up much as to what to expect.

Their Instagram profile reveals that an album called Fever Daydream is on the way later this year, though an ETA had yet to be cemented. The band have also delivered a triangular teaser vid scored by roughly a minute and a half of calming, ambient tones. You can check out those washed-out sounds down below.

The Black Queen follows Puciato's work with metal supergroup Killer Be Killed. That band, which also features Soulfly's Max Cavalera and Mastodon's Troy Sanders, put out a self-titled debut in 2014.

More recently, Puciato was seen swinging a baseball bat like a god damn maniac in the video for Retox's Beneath California single "Lets Not Keep In Touch."
