Crow Town

"I'm So Cool"

Two-piece Toronto rock'n'roll outfit Crow Town are ready to follow up last year's Do It! EP with a fresh new single called "I'm So Cool," and Exclaim! has got your first listen to it.

The new tune hears pounding drums and distorted guitars build up a grunge-y wall of fuzzed-out noise, only to have the razor-sharp vocals cut right through it. It was laid down at Royal Mountain Records with the help of Nyles Miszczyk, while the album artwork (pictured above) comes courtesy of Ryan Isojima.

In a statement, the band revealed that the songs is "about feeling like you've got everything together and have a good thing going and then all of a sudden it can all come crashing down around you and you feel like an arrogant prick."

It's also the first of three singles that Crow Town are planning to release throughout the year. You can catch them throw down some tunes live at the Horseshoe Tavern on March 6 and again during Canadian Music Week. For now, though, give "I'm So Cool" a spin in the player below.
