Fuzz-rockin' Toronto duo Crow Town unveiled a digital version of their debut EP Do It! earlier this year, but are giving it a proper vinyl release this week. Before you can physically pick up a copy, though, stream the four-song effort on Exclaim.ca.
Touting themselves as "homemade rock'n'roll" from the mean streets of Toronto, Bradley Trauzzi and Davian Hart know how to make a lot of noise for just two dudes on guitar and drums, respectively.
Powering through four tracks in under 12 minutes, Crow Town deliver rough and raw songs with their signature in-your-face attitude. The album's title is a nod to their music-making approach: "no bullshit, no smoke, no mirrors, just Do It!"
The forthcoming LP was engineered/mixed by Eric Kupp and mastered by David Porteous, while the album art (pictured above) comes courtesy of Ryan Isojima.
Do It! officially drops on August 22 and the band will celebrate by gracing the stage at Toronto's Horseshoe Tavern on the same night, as part of a bill that includes Canadian Shield, the '92 Blue Jays, Lake of Lions and Breaking Lakes.
