Constantines to Play Hillside 2015

BY Sarah MurphyPublished Feb 5, 2015

Beloved Canadian indie rockers Constantines broke their four-year long hiatus last year for a string of reunion shows, and they'll keep the momentum going this summer in their hometown of Guelph, ON.

The band have just been announced as performers at this summer's Hillside Festival.

A statement from festival organizers reads: "They have a special place in their collective heart for the Hillside Festival, and we're super psyched that they'll be playing Guelph Lake again. It's been too long!"

The festival will be taking over Guelph Lake Conservation Area July 24 to 26, though it has yet to be confirmed which day the Cons will be storming the stage. The remaining list of performers has yet to be announced.

Tickets for Hillside 2015 go on sale this Saturday (February 7) at 9 a.m. EST and will be available for purchase over here.

To tide you over until the summer event, Hillside Inside will be happening this weekend (February 5 to 7) in Guelph. The stacked lineup will feature shows from Owen Pallet, New Pornographers, Stars, Kid Koala and BADBADNOTGOOD, taking place at indoor venues around the city. Full details can be found here.
