Caleb Warren & the Perfect Gentlemen

"Hoke Poole Stomp" (video)

BY Sarah MurphyPublished Jul 28, 2015

Harkening back to a time when speakeasies and juke joints were the hangouts of choice, Caleb Warren & the Perfect Gentlemen deliver old-timey folk music designed to fuel nights of drinking and dancing. The Atlanta-based band is set to show off their old western charm with a new clip for "Hoke Poole Stomp," and Exclaim! has got your first look at it.

The clip finds the band providing the soundtrack to a flapper-era party filled with good times and fuller glasses. As the liquor flows, the dance moves get bolder and the sing-alongs louder. It's the perfect indication of why the tongue-in-cheek group refer to their sound as "acoustic brass and brew-grass."
