Bristol, UK-based family ensemble the Cadbury Sisters ventured away from their folksier roots on their recently released latest EP Sarah, playing with a new pop-infused sound. Now, Exclaim! is giving you a chance to hear that new sound come to life with the premiere of the sisters' latest single "Drifting."
The track showcases the trio's sophisticated take on pop, eschewing bombast and radio-friendly cheese in favour of captivating melodies, heartfelt lyrics and dreamy instrumentation. Sweetly detailing the dying stages of a relationship, Jessica, Mary and Lucy Cadbury manage to make drifting apart from a loved one sound almost bearable.
