Brand New hail from Long Island, NY, but the successful punk unit clearly have a soft spot for Canada, as the band have announced plans for a summer tour that takes place entirely in our country.
The August outing includes seven dates in total. The trip starts in Toronto on August 2 and will take the band westward across the Prairies all the way to Vancouver.
Beyond that, the band's currently confirmed schedule includes just one non-Canuck date: the Bamboozle Festival in Asbury Park, NJ, on May 20. It's likely that more tour dates will be announced soon, but for the time being, this year looks to be all about Canada for Brand New.
The band haven't released a new album since 2009's Daisy. They have reportedly been working on new material, but there's no word as to when a new LP might arrive.
