Producer Boots is going the road less travelled by rolling out his own self-directed film. Following a recent trailer, the musician (who has worked with Beyoncé and Run the Jewels) has shared the full 30-minute Motorcycle Jesus.
The film is a bit like a long-form music video involving multiple songs, as we see Boots go on an odyssey through the desert before eventually ending up in the forest and on a country road. There is some acting and a few characters along the way, but much of this involves Boots singing his dark, moody electro-rock songs.
The soundtrack will be out on March 3 via Canvasback/Atlantic. El-P also contributed to the film's music.
