Last night (June 19), "Kanye West" was on Conan, but we're not talking about the dude who recently married Kim Kardashian. Rather, Minnesota rap duo Atmosphere showed up to perform their song "Kanye West."
The track from the newly released Southsiders finds Slug making exaggerated facial expressions while repeatedly calling for listeners to "Put your hands in the air like you really do care." Meanwhile, Ant cues up samples from an MPC and, somewhat strangely, sidles up his DJ-scratching pal to laugh while whisping into his ear. Evidently, his comments couldn't until they were off live television.
