BC Place

777 Pacific Blvd

Since its opening in 1983, BC Place has hosted more than 35 million people and has been the site of major events in Canadian history for both sports and live music events alike.

The formerly outdated stadium went through a major renovation leading up to the 2010 Vancouver Olympics, where it acted as the venue for the opening and closing ceremonies. Led by Stantec, the renovations completely transformed the facility into the vibrant centre it is today, with additions including the retractable roof, LED exterior lighting system and the second largest centre-hung scoreboard in North America that the stadium is now famous for.

BC Place continues to be a massive sports hub within Vancouver, and has hosted events including the 2015 FIFA Women's World Cup, Grey Cup championships, the Vancouver Sun Run, the world's largest 10 km race, and is home to the Whitecaps Soccer Club and Lions Football Club.

In addition to sports, the stadium has also welcomed some of the biggest names in music, including Beyoncé, Taylor Swift, Metallica, Paul McCartney, the Weeknd and AC/DC.
