Arizona-born/Los Angeles-based pop singer Zella Day is celebrating the release of her album Kicker, which arrived today (June 2) on Pinetop Records/Hollywood Records. The album includes the recent single "High," which has now gotten a remix thanks to Toronto producer Kill Them with Colour.
Much like the original version of "High," this remix stars off slow and then swells with impassioned drama. But while the original is a soaring pop-rock anthem, this one is a twinkling electro banger with pillowy synth pads, pitch-altered vocal edits and rat-a-tat percussion that gives way to thumping drops.
