After years of touring and numerous EPs and remixes, Canadian production duo Zeds Dead have shared details behind their debut studio album. Titled Northern Lights, the full-length will arrive this September through the duo's newly formed Deadbeats label.
A press release reveals that the duo have lined up an eclectic list of collaborators "including but not limited to" Pusha T, Diplo, Elliphant, Twin Shadow, Rivers Cuomo, Jadakiss, Styles P and more.
"There is something undeniably captivating about the night sky. It's almost like a direct projection of the unknown," the duo wrote in a statement. "The phenomenon of the Northern lights serves as a stark contrast to this — something vibrant and beautiful emerging from this darkness. It's a crossroads where we feel a lot of our music exists and its something that we really wanted to further explore with our debut album and live tour. We can't wait to bring you into this world over the next few months"
Along with the album details, the pair have announced a worldwide tour in support of the record, set to kick off at the end of September and keep them on the road clean through until December. At present, the lone Canadian stop is in London, ON, though more dates have yet to be announced.
