Young Thug was arrested in Los Angeles early this morning while celebrating both his 27th birthday and the release of his Slime Language project.
As ABC7 reports, Thug and four others were arrested at a Dave & Buster's location in Hollywood that the rapper had rented out for the invite-only celebration and listening party.
The station reports that Thug was booked for possession of a concealed firearm in a vehicle. According to The Blast, officers searched a vehicle belonging to the rapper and his associates after it bumped a squad car belonging to the police department, finding a stash of firearms including an AK-47.
Thug was taken into custody with bail set at $35,000 USD, though he has been released, according to an Instagram post. He posted a selfie that you can find below, captioned, "faster then [sic] the officers got off... #SlimeLanguage lil bitch."
