Floridian indie rockers Surfer Blood have a penchant for high-profile collaborative tours. In 2010, they teamed up with the Drums for a run of North American dates. In 2011, they will be touring the continent with ...And You Will Know Us By the Trail of Dead.
The co-headlining jaunt launches in New York at the end of April. The two groups will be on the road together until mid-May, playing 13 shows in the northeastern part of North America. There are two Canadian dates: Montreal on May 1 and Toronto on May 3.
Both groups have new releases on the horizon. On February 8, ....And You Will Know Us By the Trail of Dead will release the new LP Tao of the Dead, while Surfer Blood have the EP I'm Not Ready due April 5.
Before the joint North American tour begins, both bands will separately tour Europe. See the schedule below.
