Yoko Ono Plastic Ono Band

"Cheshire Cat Cry" (ft. the Flaming Lips) (live on 'Letterman')

Yoko Ono and the Flaming Lips have collaborated extensively in the past, and last night (October 2), the Oklahoma psych-pop outfit played the role of Plastic Ono Band for Yoko's appearance on the Late Show with David Letterman. They performed "Cheshire Cat Cry" from the recently released Take Me to the Land of Hell.

In the performance, Yoko shrieks and wails while delivering anti-war messages and flashing a peace sign above her head. Beside her, Wayne Coyne spends the first part of the song hunched inside of a black sack before emerging to play with a handful of noisemakers including a megaphone.
