Wu-Tang Clan Documentary On the Way

With pending albums from Kanye West, Jay-Z, 50 Cent, MF Doom, and others still slated for release in late 2008, the year’s fourth quarter is gearing up to be a good one for hip-hop. And there’s another release to add to the event. Come November 13, director Gerald K. Barclay’s long awaited Wu-Tang Clan documentary, Wu: The Story of the Wu-Tang Clan will premier on BET and play numerous times during the week.

The film is comprised of rare interviews and live footage featuring all members of the legendary Staten Island rap crew. Don’t have cable? Don’t worry — the doc will be hitting shelves on DVD on November 18, along with yet another Wu-Tang greatest hits collection.
