Late last year, Montreal rockers Wolf Parade announced that they would be going on an indefinite hiatus. As much as a bum-out as it initially seemed to fans, guitarist Dan Boeckner clarified that the decision was just more of the same from the band members, who often moonlight with other projects, including Sunset Rubdown and Handsome Furs.
If you're jonesing to see the band live, you're either going to have to keep calm until this spring's Sasquatch festival or take a few minutes out of your work day to watch this recent performance the group recorded for CBC radio show Q.
The vid finds the band tackling Expo 86 cuts "What Did My Lover Say? (It Always Had to Go This Way)" and "Oh You, Old Thing" before talking to host Jian Ghomeshi about life on the road and how outside projects have helped the band. No word of that hiatus, though.
