Wisdom of Crowds 'Wisdom of Crowds' (album stream)

Wisdom of Crowds, the tag-team collaboration between Katatonia singer Jonas Renske and the Pineapple Thief's Bruce Soord, are currently gearing up for the June 3 release of their self-titled debut. While they had previously previewed the set with a mash-up mini sampler, you can now stream the songs in full ahead of the street date via Exclaim.ca.

Strewn throughout the nine-song outing are tracks like "Frozen North," which starts off with acoustic fingering and Renske's tender musings before jumping into choppy prog-metal passages, and the almost Seal- or Duncan Sheik-styled adult contemporary pop of "Wisdom of Crowds" and "The Centre of Gravity."

According to a press release, Soord wrote the record with Renske's voice in mind, so you can decide for yourself if this was the perfect pairing by streaming the album down below.
