Wilco, Neko Case, Elvis Costello on Deck for Neil Young Tribute DVD

Wilco, Neko Case, Elvis Costello on Deck for Neil Young Tribute DVD
Last year was a monumental year for Neil Young, as he released his excellent Le Noise album and faced accolades from the Junos and Grammys, the latter of which honoured him with the MusiCares Person of the Year Award, celebrating his years of charity work.

The MusiCares award was celebrated with a large gala, where many stars performed Neil Young songs in his honour. Unless you're a real go-getter in the music biz, chances are you probably missed the show. Fortunately, Shout! Factory will release the concert on a DVD this spring.

While we're not too sure if we want to hear Dave Matthews's take on "The Needle and the Damage Done" or Josh Groban's "Harvest Moon," there's plenty to bite into, as the DVD also features appearances from Booker T., Norah Jones, Wilco, Elvis Costello, James Taylor and an Elton John performance of "Helpless" featuring Leon Russell, Neko Case and Sheryl Crow. The full DVD tracklisting is available below.

Shout! Factory will release A MusiCares Tribute to Neil Young on May 31. And as recently reported, Young has a North American tour booked, including two dates in Toronto on May 10 and May 11.
