White Reaper Return with New Album 'You Deserve Love'

They hit Vancouver and Toronto on tour this fall

After claiming the title of The World's Best American Band on their last album, White Reaper have readied a follow-up effort.

The Kentucky outfit will release a new album titled You Deserve Love through Elektra on October 18, marking their first effort for the label.

Ten tracks in length, You Deserve Love was recorded with producer Jay Joyce in Nashville and includes previously shared singles "Real Long Time" and "Might Be Right."

Alongside the album news, the band have shared new song "1F," a video for which you can watch below.

As vocalist/guitarist Tony Esposito explained, the album's title came from a note on bassist Sam Wilkerson's phone.

"He had written things down he thought might be good album titles, and we were all sitting around at a bar in Nashville after we had just finished recording, vexing about what we were going to call the album," Esposito recalled.

Wilkerson added, "I started reading them aloud at the bar, and everyone stopped me at You Deserve Love. I think it's cool, because it's true for everybody. I think it's what everybody needs to hear."

White Reaper have also mapped out a North American headlining tour, which includes Canadian stops in Vancouver and Toronto.

A date on October 11 will see them play Vancouver's Biltmore Cabaret with the Dirty Nil and Criminal Hygiene, while a Toronto stop on November 8 will bring them to the Horseshoe Tavern with the Nude Party and Wombo.
