Weezer have been celebrating the sunnier months with their latest single "Feels Like Summer" and a bunch of live shows, and now it seems as if that's all been part of the lead-up to a new album.

The band are slated to drop a brand new track called "Mexican Fender" tomorrow (August 17), but some additional info has also leaked thanks to Florida radio station 104.3 The Shark. In a post announcing contest details, including a meet-and-greet with Weezer and a download of their new album, the station let it slip that said forthcoming album is titled Pacific Daydream and is expected to arrive on October 27.

The Shark has since removed those specifics from its post, but nothing is ever truly gone from the internet thanks to Reddit. Eavesdrop or join in on the ongoing discussion about the anticipated LP over here.

Weezer's last full-length release arrived last year with another self-titled effort (a.k.a. The White Album). They subsequently put out a split 7-inch with Wavves, as well as an expanded deluxe version of The White Album.
