Spring is coming. The first instalment of Weezer's four-part SZNZ EP series lands on the equinox, March 20, and the first single "A Little Bit of Love" is here now.
The song is a pastoral anthem with a stomp-clap beat that sounds like a lot like all those hey-ho arena folk bands (Mumford & Sons, the Lumineers, et al.) — and frontman Rivers Cuomo even sings "hey ho" during a post-chorus break. The mandolin-driven tune gets a little more Weezer-y with the entrance of crunchy electric guitars.
Listen to "A Little Bit of Love" below. SZNZ: Spring follows on March 20, with new seasonal EPs dropping on all of the equinoxes and solstices throughout 2022.
