BY Alex HudsonPublished Mar 11, 2013

In keeping with the music world's recent fondness for cruises, Weezer are preparing for another Weezer Cruise voyage in 2014.

This marks the second instalment of the nautical music festival, which first took place in early 2012. It will launch in Jacksonville, FL, on February 13, before heading the Bahamas and eventually wrapping up in Miami on February 17.

The full itinerary for the four-night event has not yet been confirmed, but it will include a Q&A with Weezer, an interactive game show, photo opportunities with the band, complimentary room service and meals, ship facilities (pools, fitness centre, casino, library, shopping), an hour-long open bar cocktail party, a "Private Island Beach Party and Concert" in the Bahamas and, of course, Weezer performances.

There will also be a multi-band music festival, although no other performers have yet been announced.

The 2012 instalment of the festival included artists such as Dinosaur Jr., Wavves, the Antlers and Sebadoh.

Pre-sale reservations for the 2014 event begin on March 20 before the tickets are made public on March 21. Prices range from anywhere from $699 to $4,000. Learn more about your options and read the FAQ over at the Weezer Cruise's website. Watch a trailer for the event below.

In other Weezer-related news, the band will be performing on July 14 in Victoria, BC, for Rock the Shores festival. They are also signed on for the Ottawa Bluesfest in July.
