The Weeknd Collaborating with Wiz Khalifa, araabMUZIK

It's been several months since the Weeknd dropped his Echoes of Silence mixtape, but the Toronto-based R&B singer born Abel Tesfaye apparently has some new material in the works with "Black & Yellow" rapper Wiz Khalifa.

A recent interview with HipHopWired [via FACT] found Khalifa dishing on the collab, explaining that the Weeknd will pop up on his upcoming O.N.I.F.C..

"It's good you know, because [the Weeknd]'s a trippy dude," Khalifa said of the team-up. "It's really away from the character people know him for, so with me and him and Juicy [J], too, we work really well together. And we've got a lot of stuff that people are going to hear from."

It's also been reported that the Weeknd has been getting together with MPC master araabMUZIK to make some new tunes, with the latter having tweeted, "Currently working with my homie @theweekndxo Smh at we gonna put out!!!!" last week.

Specifics on the release of either collaboration have yet been unveiled.
