​Watch Werner Herzog Dissect Kanye West's "Famous" Video

Kanye West caused a pop culture shitstorm when he unleashed his celebrity-studded "Famous" video, and now a filmmaking legend has weighed in on the clip.
 
In conjunction with an interview about Werner Herzog's latest film Lo and Behold, Reveries of the Connected World, the director sat down for a video segment with The Daily Beast in which he watches and analyzes Ye's controversial clip.
 
"I have never seen anything like this," he remarks, admiring the doppelganger effects in the clip and pondering what each character's back-story could be. In addition to praising the "deep storytelling" at play, he also acknowledges West's "very well-done" rap.
