Watch This Musician Cover Red Hot Chili Peppers with Literal Red Hot Chili Peppers

Tyzo Bloom's latest TikTok recruits some musical vegetables to create a rendition of the band's "Can't Stop"

Addicted to the shindig, musician Tyzo Bloom has taken an innovative approach in his contribution to the sea of Red Hot Chili Peppers covers on the internet — by using actual red hot chili peppers to play a rendition of "Can't Stop" from the band's 2002 album By the Way.

Bloom's TikTok channel often makes use of household objects to make music. In this case, he's hooked up a Makey Makey — an invention kit and educational tool for connecting the world to your computer using simple circuits — to six peppers; one per string. The musician recreates John Frusciante's iconic funk guitar tone (and some xylophone too!) with a completely plant-based approach.

He has since followed it up with a rendition of the rhythm section of "Snow" from Stadium Arcadium using five Carolina Reaper peppers.

Elsewhere, Bloom has covered the Black Eyed Peas using a can of... well, you can see where this is going, as well as "All Star" by Smashmouth with Converse sneakers.

It's so on the nose, you'll probably have to see it to believe it — and you can do so below.

In related Chili Pepper news, producer Rick Rubin cried when he first heard RHCP reunite with once-former guitarist Frusciante, and Chad Smith's daughter Ava Maybee also recently shared a cover of "Universally Speaking."
