Lido Pimienta took home top honours at the 2017 Polaris Music Prize gala last night (September 18), but she wasn't the only Canadian artist to take a turn in the spotlight. Over the course of the ceremony, a handful of the nominated artists showcased their talents in a live environment, and you can relive those performances now.

Feist showed off her nominated Pleasure album with a performance of its "I Wish I Didn't Miss You," while Lisa LeBlanc played "Ti-gars" and "5748 km" from Why You Wanna Leave, Runaway Queen? Leif Vollebekk performed "All Night Sedans" from Twin Solitude, and Pimienta delivered "Quiero Que Te Vaya Bien" and "La Capacidad" from her eventual prize-winning album La Papessa.

Tanya Tagaq, meanwhile, graced the stage twice last night. First, she gave a heart-stopping performance of Retribution tracks, including her rendition of Nirvana's "Rape Me" that paid tribute to missing and murdered Indigenous women. Tagaq later reappeared to close the show onstage with Weaves, collaborating on a new track called "Scream." Weaves brought it all to a close with "One More."
