Metallica's past collaborations with proto-punk icons have been divisive to say the least, but there's no denying the energy onstage in a new live clip that sees Iggy Pop join the thrash legends for a run-through of a Stooges classic.
Last night (March 5), Metallica brought Iggy onstage during a performance at Foro Sol in Mexico City, during which the two iconic acts played their way through "T.V. Eye." The track, of course, appeared on the Stooges' 1970 album Fun House.
The video features some enthusiastic gang vocals from both Iggy and James Hetfield, who even made sure to don similar hard-rocking leather outfits.
