While the Who's special guests at the Vancouver stop of their "Moving On! Tour" included Liam Gallagher and Reignwolf, the rock icons also worked in a surprise appearance from Eddie Vedder.

The Pearl Jam frontman joined Roger Daltrey, Pete Townshend and co. at Rogers Arena last night (October 21) during the symphonic portion of their set, lending a hand on lead vocals for Quadrophenia cut "The Punk and the Godfather."

You can watch Vedder — clearly energized by the new arrangement and the fact Daltrey didn't lose his voice — in the fan-shot footage below.

The Who will deliver new album WHO on November 22 via Polydor Records. That same month, guitarist Townshend will also release a new novel.
