It's no secret that Bill Murray and Pearl Jam frontman Eddie Vedder are both superfans of the Chicago Cubs, so it's not surprising that they're pretty stoked about last night's (November 2) game.

The Cubs took down the Cleveland Indians 9-3 to force a game 7 tonight (November 3), and the celebrity cheer squad celebrated with a spirited rendition of the Band classic "The Weight" at a Wrigleyville afterparty.

Murray and Vedder were joined by Derek Trucks for the impromptu jam session, and it's hard to watch the clip and not to root for their beloved team to break the curse tonight. Check it out below.

In other heartwarming Cubs-related news, Murray gave his extra box ticket to last night's game to a random fan that was having trouble scoring a seat, while Vedder led the stadium in a rendition of "Take Me Out to the Ball Game" earlier in the series.
