Alvvays haven't released an album since 2017's Antisocialites, which at this point feels like several decades and a few apocalypses ago. However, that dry spell may finally be coming to an end — last night, the PEI dream-pop magicians opened for the Strokes in Los Angeles (their first show since the pandemic started) and they debuted two new songs while they were at it.

According to Setlist.fm, the new tracks are called "Many Mirrors" and "After the Earthquake," and judging by videos captured by fans at the show, they sound every bit as effervescent and weightless as we've come to expect from Alvvays. The guitars still jangle, the keys still swirl and Molly Rankin's hair is as blonde as ever; things feel right in the world again.

Check out some videos of the new songs below, and maybe look forward to some more coming our way soon — Alvvays are set to play a Halloween show this weekend in San Francisco, so maybe they'll bust out a couple more new tunes.
