Washed Out is returning with his first album in three years. It's called Purple Noon, and you can hear the lead-off single "Time to Walk Away" now.

Purple Non — Washed Out's fourth album and follow-up to 2017's Mister Mellow — will be out on August 7 via Sup Pop. To get us amped, the artist born Ernest Greene has shared a video for "Time to Walk Away," which you can check out below.

The clip was helmed by Australian director Riley Blakeway and is a reinterpretation of a personal short film Blakeway shot years ago — now put forth as a music video — telling the tale of a crumbling relationship.

Greene wrote, recorded and produced Purple Noon in Atlanta, while it was mixed by his collaborator Ben H. Allen. According to a press release, the album was inspired by the Mediterranean coastlines and its title was named after the 1960 film directed by René Clément.
