California rapper Vince Staples delivered the goods in 2014, dropping his Shyne Coldchain Vol. 2 mixtape and Hell Can Wait EP. Those releases have only heightened the anticipation for his full-length debut, and at a recent Los Angeles show, Staples divulged some information about the upcoming LP.
According to this Reddit post [via Stereogum] the album will be titled Summertime, and rather appropriately, it's scheduled to come out in July.
While artwork, tracklisting and personnel details have yet to be announced, it's still a glimmer of hope for impatient fans of the West Coast hip-hopper.
Staples has previously collaborated with members of the Odd Future collective, as well as releasing a collaborative mixtape with Mac Miller — so there might be some interesting guests to look forward to on the new album.
For now, though, watch the video for Hell Can Wait single "Fire" below.
