West Coast label Shake! Records is bringing Shake! Fest back to its home base of Victoria, BC, for the third year in a row this summer, and the 2016 lineup has just been announced.
This year's event will feature performances from the Courtneys, Dead Soft, Slam Dunk, Isotopes, Lab Coast, Astral Gunk, Johnny de Courcy, Dri Hiev, Hansmole, Painted Fruit, Psychosomatic Itch, Power-Buddies, Smoke Eaters, Durban Poison, Croatia, Wares, the Mandates, Gender Poutine, Crystal Eyes, Needs, Whoop-Szo, Timing X, Diamond Mind, Spring Breaks, and Death Kart.
Shake! Fest kicks off on June 30 with a free all-ages event at Ship Point, followed by an afterparty at Copper Owl. On July 1, the action will move to Lucky Bar and Logan's Pub, before things come to a close on July 2 with shows at the Upstairs Cabaret and Intrepid Theatre.
