A little over a year on from releasing his There's Alot Going On EP, Vic Mensa has delivered a new "capsule" project titled The Manuscript.
The Chicago MC premiered the project today (June 8) on Zane Lowe's Beats 1 Radio program before arriving on streaming services. The entire four-track release can be heard in the player below.
UPDATE (06/09, 4:41 p.m. EST): As Mensa tells Rolling Stone, the project serves as "an introduction to my album which is coming this summer, release date pending. Very soon."
The Manuscript features contributions from Pusha T and Pharrell on a song titled "OMG," while Mr. Hudson assists Mensa on EP opener "Almost There."
The EP's cover art can be seen above, with listeners believing that a scrawled "1/2" could indicate that this is the first of two releases from Mensa. Whether or not he delivers a second part, you can take in The Manuscript in the players below.
