Next year is shaping up to be a busy one for UK indie-pop act Veronica Falls. Not only are the group releasing their sophomore album, Waiting for Something to Happen, but they will be hitting the road for a generous selection of shows in Europe and North America.
The band will spend February playing shows in the UK before heading to our shores in March. Most of the North American dates are in the U.S., but there are also Canadian appearances in Montreal, Toronto and Vancouver. Along the way, they will play shows with Cold Showers, Cheatahs, Golden Grrrls and Slumberland labelmates Brilliant Colors.
Waiting for Something to Happen will be out in the UK on February 4 through Bella Union. The North American release will follow on February 12 via Slumberland. The vintage-looking, confetti-filled music video for jangling album cut "Teenage," which was just premiered, is below the tour dates and offers a promising preview of the forthcoming LP.
