The tasteful genre fusion of Vein's 2018 LP Errorzone was so impressive, Exclaim! named it the top metal and hardcore album of that year. Now, the band have returned with a new collection of "remixes, re-recordings, and reimaginings" for their faithful.
The Massachusetts outfit have shared the 11-track Old Data in a New Machine Vol. 1, which you can stream in the player below. Physical editions will arrive September through Closed Casket Activities.
Opener "20 seconds : 20 hours" — a rework of "untitled" from Errorzone — arrives alongside a video you can find below. The collection also features reworks of "Ripple" and "Heretic," as well as a trio of demos from 2016.
