Celebrating ten years of quality metal on these shores, Identity 7 is Century Media's latest in a long line of budget-priced samplers. Really, quality is the key word here: Krisiun, God Forbid, Haste, Cryptopsy, Candiria, Nevermore, Iced Earth, Sigh and Eyehategod are some of the leaders of today's metal underworld, and they are all here. Even the duds fail not because the bands aren't good at the genres in question, just that the genres are suspect at best (i.e. Lacuna Coil, Skinlab and ...And Oceans). For a few bucks, this is a great introductory into today's metal world; Stuck Mojo still suck, though.
