While Epitaph continues to release records by bands that not even Good Charlotte would consider punk, subsidiary Hellcat Records has been consistently putting out records by people like Joe Strummer, officially giving them more punk cred than any record label could ever need. Chronicled on this DVD are live performances from most of the Hellcat bands of the last four years. Relying heavily on numerous Rancid appearances, the DVD shines when demonstrating the live vigour of campy psychobillies Horrorpops or the drunken debauchery of U.S. Bombs. Interspersed with footage of the bands backstage or just hanging out, the whole film actually comes together nicely, linking all the bands with the kind of camaraderie one would hope to see from anyone calling themselves punk.
