Vancouver's Dandelion Records Robbed After Devastating Fire
Vancouver's beloved Dandelion Records was the victim of a horrendous fire late last month, and now the owners have suffered yet another blow. While trying to put the shop back together, Dandelion was broken into and robbed.

The store posted about the incident late Monday (November 2), writing, "This morning provided some new challenges. We got broken into and some people ransacked the place we'd spent the last week trying to organize."

You can see Dandelion's latest post about the robbery below.

While the latest setback is some serious insult to injury, it does appear that owners Jeff Knowlton and wife Laura Frederick are doing their best to stay positive and get the store back up and running.

As previously reported, Dandelion was effectively destroyed when a three-alarm fire broke out on October 22 near the shop's Main and Broadway location in Vancouver's Mount Pleasant neighbourhood. Three buildings had been left extremely damaged in the fire, including Dandelion.

Shortly after the incident, a suspect was arrested for arson.

Multiple crowdfunding campaigns were set up to help Dandelion, with one GoFundMe now earning nearly $30,000 for the store. You can donate to that here.
