As if the organizers of the Le Guess Who? festival didn't already have enough on their hands, they have announced a couple of special events for their upcoming festival, which runs from November 20 to 23 Utrecht, Netherlands. This includes a special Michael Gira-curated program called Mouth to Mouth, plus a 24-hour Dronefest.

This is the second instalment of Mouth to Mouth, and the first time it has spanned multiple days and venues. Gira curated this year's three-day program; in addition to a performance from his own band Swans, he selected acts including Wire, Xiu Xiu, Ben Frost, Silver Apples, Prurient, Baby Dee, Carla Bozulich, Victor Herrero, Jenny Hval, Okkyung Lee, and a special team-up from Savages and Bo Ningen called Words to the Blind featuring all-original material.

As for Dronefest, it will run for 24 hours starting at midnight on November 22. It will feature a non-stop selection of live performances and installations, with performers including Tim Hecker, William Basinski, Stephen O'Malley, Steve Hauschildt and Raime. More will be announced soon.

Previously confirmed acts for Le Guess Who? include St. Vincent, Bonnie "Prince" Billy, Mac DeMarco, Perfume Genius, Sharon Van Etten, Owen Pallett, tUnE-yArDs, Son Lux, Wreckless Eric, Dr. John & the Nite Trippers, Ought and more.

Shows will take place in 15 venues throughout Utrecht. Early bird passes cost €90 ($130.93) and are available here. The price will go up to €100 ($145.48) starting on September 1.
