Just a few days ago, when we learned the sad news that Waka Flocka Flame/Gucci Mane associate Slim Dunkin (aka Mario Hamilton) had been murdered in an Atlanta studio, police were unsure why the rapper had been shot. Now, reports have begun to emerge that suggest, bizarrely, Dunkin was killed over an altercation regarding a piece of candy.
As tragic and unbelievable as this seems, the news comes from homicide detective David Quinn, who told Atlanta's WSB-TV [via MTV], "The information we're getting, it's unconfirmed, but witnesses are saying this whole thing started over a piece of candy."
Witnesses say that Dunkin grabbed a piece of candy from the unnamed killer, resulting in an argument. This escalated into a fist fight and culminated in the other person drawing a gun and shooting the rapper once in the chest. There were a number of witnesses at the scene, but police reportedly missed out on interviewing all of them because they were called to the hospital and not to the studio.
Since the murder, Waka Flocka Flame has clearly been grieving, posting Twitter messages like "IM LOST," "DONT TRUST SHIT #FUCKADAWORLD," and "My #GrandmaMillie told me don't question God but why Dunk i did way more fuck shit in my life then lil bra it should of been me."
