Tyler, the Creator's last solo effort came in 2015 with the incredibly divisive Cherry Bomb, and the MC has now revealed the trailer for a documentary that will examine the making of the record.

Cherry Bomb: The Documentary was directed and produced by Mikey Alfred and Illegal Civ Cinema and is set for a DVD release in 2017. Pitchfork reports that the first 10 minutes of the film will be shown this weekend (November 12 and 13) at Tyler's Camp Flog Gnaw Carnival festival in Los Angeles.

As you can see in the trailer, plenty of studio footage from the album sessions is included, featuring appearances from album collaborators Kanye West, Lil Wayne, Pharrell, ScHoolboy Q, Syd, Kali Uchis and more. The clip also sees Tyler directing a string section, tickling the ivories at his white piano, and goofing off as he's always done.
