Last fall, we learned via some tweets that Odd Future kingpin Tyler, the Creator, Frank Ocean, and chillwave graduate Toro Y Moi (aka Chaz Bundick) were working on a collab in the studio, but sort of forgot about the whole thing. Now, Tyler has posted a song that came out of the sessions called "Hey You" through the Odd Future blog. It looks as if only Bundick and Tyler, the Creator are featured on the track, though.
"Unfinished Tune By Tyler And Toro Y Moi That Got Out Somehow Called 'Hey You'. Enjoy! Summmmmaa Taaammm!" Tyler wrote of the demo.
The tune glides by on some chill '80s synths and a soft backbeat, while Tyler, the Creator delivers some low-key, flirty verses about a girl looking fine in a kickin' skirt. Following an admission that he's kind of a creep, he caps his performance with half-spoken hook of "Sounds cool to me."
