The month of February is proving to be a fruitful one for fans of Brooklyn art rock institute TV on the Radio. First, the band announced that they were coming out of hiatus for a new album called Nine Types of Light. Then, we revealed their North American tour, which will take place in April. Now, we're happy to share the album's release date and first single.

Pitchfork points to the Seattle radio station The End 107.7, who obtained a premiere of album track "Will Do." The song, which can be streamed here, is a melodic, slowed-down affair that relies on dreamy synths and harmonized vocals. Definitely one of the band's softer tracks but an all around winner to be sure.

More importantly, The End announced that Nine Types of Light will be released on April 12. Interscope will be putting out the album, and we will get you the tracklisting and album art as soon as we can find it.
