The Toronto Urban Roots Festival has already laid out its 2015 lineup, but the event known casually as TURF has now expanded once again, this time with the announcement of a wave of Club Bonus Series shows.
While the bulk of the festival will take place between September 18 and 20 at Toronto's Fort York, these Club Bonus Series gigs run from September 16 to 21 at the Horseshoe Tavern. So far, five club shows have been confirmed, and headliners include Cold Specks, Elliott Brood, Heartless Bastards, Fishbone and Punch Brothers. All of these artists are also playing in the main part of the festival.
Tickets for these shows are separate from standard festival passes, although a limited number of TURF VIP passes guarantee entry to the club gigs in addition to special access to the festival.

As for the artists performing in the main portion of the festival, they include Pixies, Wilco, Of Monsters and Men, Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeroes, Neko Case, Desaparecidos, Deerhunter, Built to Spill, the Sadies, Will Butler, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, Passenger, Lucinda Williams, the Strumbellas, Ron Sexsmith and more.
